Founded in 1891, The Daughters of The Republic of Texas is the oldest patriotic women’s organization in Texas and one of the oldest in the nation.
The Picketville Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (District II) was chartered in July 2012. We have won both the Six Star Chapter Award and the State Publicity Award the last three years. We meet in Breckenridge, Texas, generally the second Monday of the month.
