Billie O’Neal, member of the Picketville Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, presents Rhonda Crawford, Executive Director, Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce with 120 Texas blinky pins. These pins are part of the outreach program for the Picketville Chapter. The Chamber will be giving these pins to the 100 plus pilots from all over the U.S. traveling to Breckenridge for the Air Show the end of May,2017.
Members of the Picketville Chapter of the Daughter of the Republic of Texas were on hand November 5 for the DRT 125th Year Celebration at the LBJ Ranch National Historic Park.
The Picketville Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas met Monday, December 12, for lunch and entertainment at the beautiful Connellee Hotel in Eastland. The Charles Dickens Christmas Carolers were on hand to sing beautiful Christmas music.

The Picketville Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas exhibit their trunk presentation to the South Elementary 4th graders March 9, 2017. Kay Jurecek, pictured, along with DRT members Billie O’Neal, and Susan Hare presented the trunk contents from the Republic of Texas era to attentive 4th graders at South Elementary. Children participated in the program. Each child was presented with a Texas blinky pin to take home in honor of Texas History Month.
